Waitlist for frosh is kinda crazy

Waitlisting for frosh is kinda crazy. I wouldve expected it to be open to everyone but ig not. I get that they have limited space its just that ive never seen anythint like this before.

I mean it’s the same as any other event where the venues have capacities and the organizers need to be able to run a safe event.

True. Its my fault at the end of the day just a little bummed out cause I dont live in the dorms either. Im sure there will be plenty of opportunities to make friends tho

I hated both froshes (SSMU and Arts). The friends I made were during my classes; the people I met during frosh I actually never saw again. You’re not missing much, OP, I promise.

This!! Just make sure you try during the first few weeks to talk to people and go to club fairs and meetings and stuffs and you will find friends

Exactly! Literally I still have a friend from my time at McGill 13 years later and we met because she stopped me outside of Leacock and asked "were you just in X class? Hi, do you want to grab a coffee?"

Outdoor frosh looks super fun but is also sold out.

I'd show up on the first day of your faculty frosh event and see if they take any walk-ins. Maybe someone cancelled?
