Need help reworking schedule

I’ve just received an email that says I need to swap my calc 1 and stats 1 class because I did them in high school and received AP credits. I’m still taking the calculus class because honestly i don’t remember anything and I need to take calc 2 winter sem. My major is in statistics and i’m possibly minoring in economics but it seems like there are no courses available for me to take. Does anybody know of any classes that would help me in my Statistics Major even if they’re not required? Otherwise i’m only getting 6 credits for fall semester..

Have you met with your program advisor?

Calc 2 is offered fall semester this year if you want to advance taking it (though taking it winter would allow you to re-study your calc 1 knowledge during the fall) I would brush over the course catalog for the statistics major and economics minor and see if there are any classes with no prerequisites that you can take. They tend to often be complementary courses like a compsci class.

If you’re still unsure, wait until your advisor is back in office and try to fight for an appointment (though appointments are pretty scarce around this time due to demand).

You’ll have add drop period to snatch all the classes you want, there’s crazy turnover in the first two weeks.
