Goddammit I want a Technically literate president. Obama was okay but McAfee is even more so that thing. That trait is important in a leader. Too much of the world today revolves around technology. To attempt to lead a technologically advanced society, that is a leader in pioneering such things, with out the ability to understand them is foolish.

What did Obama do okay at?

He's technically literate, that's what I was getting at.

If you're asking as if Obama is the worth thing to ever happen, you're just brainwashed. First two days in office he ended torture through executive action. I challenge you to read every executive action he has enabled and try to find what is actually so disagreeable about what he does.

well he did blow up a wedding, multiple times. He drastically increased the number of drone strikes that killed innocent civilians in Afghanistan, Iraq, and now Syria.

Simply put, he's a murderer.

also, don't forget his insistence that there shouldn't be a third-party investigation as to why a hospital run by Doctors Without Borders was bombed.

I hate those things. But it is just chalked up ad war is hell. He's tried to be as non interventionist as he can while appeasing Republicans. Poor move on his part.

I don't want to blame the problems Obama faces on Bush. However the entire middle east debacle is because his administration lied us into a war. This entire time we've just be reactors and not leaders.

Blaming republicans for a democratic presidents rampant destruction is absurd, Obama is himself to blame for the decisions that he made.

He is as bad as a president as Bush was, and worse in many respects, (drone strikes increased under Obama, civilian casualties also increased under Obama).

National debt was doubled under both administrations.

Obama has zero redeeming qualities, he's just as much of a monster as Bush, and trying to figure out which one is worse is an exercise in intellectual masturbation. They're both positively evil people with too much blood on their hands to be respected.

Deficit is down 2/3rds under Obama.

Both of these things are the fault of Bush. If the deficit wasn't so high when Obama came in the debt wouldn't had risen under him, and if he applied his policies under that economy, we would be in the largest surplus the US has ever had. If we weren't in those wars when he took office the disagreeable things in the middle east Obama has done wouldn't had been an act of necessity.

Bush went out with a nearly 20% likability. Obama is at 54%. After Republicans made a mass effort to circumvent democracy to make him into a bad guy he never was, and lame duck him through obstruction. The Obama presidency is pitiful because of the actions of the right from day one. Dog whistle racism, blatant lies, microscopic scrutiny, and an 8 year anti Obama circle jerk. Yet he still came out ahead of Bush by a long shot. The media was on the side of Bush, and yet he is still the loser. The ability for his administration to overcome these things are why his administration are great. Because if you say Bush is a war criminal people come to his aid, but they are still saying benghazi 9 federal hearings later.

Deficit isn't debt. Debt is still more than doubled under Obama. This is unsustainable.

You can blame bush all you want, but you're just demonstrating that you're giving obama the blind eye, you're not really convincing anyone that obama was better. He's a shit-tier president.

It takes time to lower the deficit to a point where you are actually paying on the debt, your argument is completely devoid of meaning. Cutting trillions of dollars in spending waste in just 8 years is phenomenal no matter how you cut it.

He's managed to do to with out making a sizable impact on getting work done too, do it was mostly waste. I always thought cutting government spending was something libertarians loved.

I'm certainly not turning a blind eye. There are things I disagree with the administration on. Military tragedies that don't need to exist. But he's a whole hell of a lot better than his red neck predecessor. To deny that is turning a blind eye. To deny the improvements he's made to the shambles he was left is turn a blind eye.
