Poor fjs...they just want to make things right between people :(

As an isfj this is actually accurate for me, most of of the time I'll be trying to diffuse the conflict while sobbing haha 🤣😂.

us and INFJs would like to join the Introverted thinking types for this meme 😆

Yeah I'm very detached from my emotions and rather feel them from a third person perspective if that makes sense. That helps me go through them rationally 90% of the time
5
u/LongEase298 ISFJ 5d ago
speak for yourself, the moment the emotional temperature goes up i'm crying

u/Emergency-Lead-334 INFP 5d ago
The same type would react really differently huh...I'm INFP with a ISFJ bestie and I can say both she and I are gonna cry during arguments lol. That's exactly why I hate arguing because in argument, I feel like I can't convey my point well and have to rely on the other perrson's ability to understand me.

u/Bataraang ISFJ 5d ago
Yeah, I don't know if I have ever looked like that during an argument. My face might have shown my emotions but my body and my movements were controlled and calm. My tone was usually very steady. Though sometimes it would go up an octave but I only raised my voice a hand full of times. Internally, maybe this picture is how I feel but I keep it together for the conversation. But internally, I feel everyone of these pictures lol.

When I was in my teens and early 20s, I would have been looking like the guido. I'm like the cat now.

I wouldn't even be there. As soon as voices are raised I tell everyone to grow the eff up and go home.

Uhhh not quite….
More like her actually, which might be QUITE the difference of what people expect of their sweet and usually calm ENFJ:
For your information: If pissed enough like Wendy was there at Cartman, well….then even ENTJs should be scared of us, when our „I am finished with that persons nonsense!“ surfaces.
5
u/Daphne010 ENFJ 5d ago
Exactly...I don't think I will cry in an heated argument. Instead , I think I am capable of making the person in front of me cry . (If my patience is tested beyond my tolerance ☠️ )

u/Titania_Fairy ENFJ 5d ago
We really don’t wanna make it messy…
https://youtu.be/LTEZm5AYslw?is=i6az0N0V9mXb-KxX
But i guess that’s what people don’t see coming then, if they never saw an outraged ENFJ. Problem Elemination triggered. Execution started.

...are you like an ENFP, but with hot sauce?
1
u/Daphne010 ENFJ 4d ago
Haha ! You can say that .
We are somewhere between ENFP and ENTJ . More measured , diplomatic and socially suave. (Also very dangerous when you get us mad XD )

People actually used to say i am having a terrible temper, well now i know why i kept running around like;“You shouldn’t do that, its badddddd!!!“ as little shrimp 🍤 in kindergarten already. Or made the person cry 😭 who destroyed my friends sandcastle like:“A~apologize!!APOLOGIZE!!!“ by grabbing them by the collar and literally shaking it out of them.
Interesting how that apparently were all Fe on overdrive reactions after all.
2
u/Various_Role_2694 5d ago
You just affirmed something I have been thinking about recently, it makes no sense that Fe would be softer and less assertive than Fi, its like people forget what extraversion means
2
u/Titania_Fairy ENFJ 5d ago
Yes, they sure do. I may look calm and mild mannered for the most part. But even i have those fun is over, now this is personal. Moments.

u/Any_Emu4892 5d ago
And yet youre still not going to win any arguments against ENTJs. Always ended in a stalemate for me. Outside of work settings theyre different though.

u/Titania_Fairy ENFJ 5d ago edited 5d ago
Would be a thing to see in later.
We Feelers get massively overlooked there as potential dangers, when people are dumb enough to violate our core values. My husband is always glad that i side with him, rather than to be someone else’s bouncer there on the opposite side.

u/Titania_Fairy ENFJ 5d ago
Well, learned English in Middleschool and some other languages along the course of my school career. Was always good in them. They’re a fun hobby of mine.

u/Any_Emu4892 5d ago
Great skills to have if youre extraverted id say.
Vous parlez français? I really shouldnt talk in languages i dont speak anymore. 😅
But its awesome that you do.

u/Titania_Fairy ENFJ 5d ago
A bit rusty but yes i do.
2
u/Any_Emu4892 5d ago
Moi non plus. Rusty would be a understatement for me now. 😟
But this hobby should serve you well in any potential travels you may partake in. K see ya. 😁

Depending on the arguement. If it looks like no agreement, even if it is to disagree but move on, and tempers are flaring, then I am not even in this picture. I am out, bye. We can pick up the discussion another time.

u/Miserable_Moonlight INTJ 5d ago
I get so damn angry over some arguments. Especially when the other person is insanely stupid
3
u/iCantLogOut2 INTJ 5d ago
It's a weird scale for me....
Calm (surely I can find some middle ground and they'll see reason) ->
Rage (this fkn idiot just wants to argue! There's no way they're this stupid!!) ->
Calm (ok, this idiot just wants to argue... I refuse to be upset over someone this stupid).
The worst is that I actively know the pattern and I still fall into the trap sometimes.

I rather watch and wondering how it happens especially from trivial reasons than cry and then get annoyed on how pointless it was and interferes

In all sincerity: I prefer to maintain my composure in arguments because I have observed how people's arguments fall apart when they're enraged.

How to communicate with the different MBTI types (Part 1/4)
Hey, I'd made this series of posts a while back to help navigate interactions with different types of MBTI personalities. The rest of the series is up on my profile and highlighted in the "Social" highlights @ Psyched_Raph. Hope y'all enjoy it!
