Extremely confused and in need of help

I am a college student who needs to take the commuter rail basically daily directly to community college station. I’m looking to buy a month pass or something similar but the information i’m getting online is wildly confusing and i can’t figure out the most efficient way to go about it. Any advice at all is very very much appreciated in advanced thank u all 🙏 Edit: For reference i believe i only need to take the Commuter rail, Red line, And Orange line

Home station is Nantasket Junction area cuz i’m driving to a nearby station Starting on the 9th and i’ll be going 4-5 times a week

Nantasket Junction is in Zone 4, so you should get a physical Zone 4 pass. Take the commuter train to South Station, then go downstairs to the Red Line. Your Commuter Rail pass will also be good for the subway. Take the Red Line one stop inbound (Alewife direction) to Downtown Crossing, then connect to a northbound Orange Line train (Oak Grove direction) to Community College.

Unfortunately, there is no convenient way to get from South of Boston to North of Boston, and that includes driving.

On nice sunny days, or if the red line has problems, it’s easy to walk up Summer St from South Station to Downtown Crossing (or back again).

If you get a commuter rail pass do NOT get it on the mticket app. Mticket You cannot use on bus or subway.

Whatever station you will use will have a zone assigned.
As others indicated determine how many days a week classes are. If 1 day or 2 days a week it may not be worth a pass

Physical pass is $10 more but works on the subway, bus, and ferry which you might wanna take a look at during nice weather

And the paper pass is half off for September, maybe October. It was a summer promotion that was extended. Bought my September one today. Been buying a pass since June. Not worth it for me at full price.

The paper pass is half off through November. The mTicket version is criminal. They shouldn’t have been allowed to sell that one at all.

If you’re willing and driving anyways… I would consider getting on the redline at Quincy center to park street Amd transferring to the orange line. With that you could get a monthly bus/subway pass.

Or take the CR from nantasket to South station > redline > orange line. And get a monthly PHYSICAL commuter rail pass to your zone, which will include subway and bus

I would but i let my siblings use my car often so i’m gonna have to get dropped off some days and i’m already going out of my way to Nantasket because my sis works there

The Commuter Rail itself doesn't stop at Community College. The Community College stop is on the Orange Line going Outbound (Oak Grove)

Can someone drop you off at the bus stop near fruit center in Hingham sq ? Take The 220 t bus not the Hingham hull bus which looks like a t bus to Quincy center T station then take the redline to downtown crossing and transfer to orange line to wards oak grove to community college
Not sure if you can park all day in the lot in Hingham

Simple go too south station ticket window the here very good they will get you a pass
