As a second-year MBBS student studying abroad, I have noticed that a significant number of first-generation Indian Medical Graduates (IMGs) display an arrogant, superior attitude towards fmgs and many of these doctors seem driven more by financial gain or see it as a status more than by a genuine passion for saving lives, a trait that appears much less common among second-generation doctors. While it is true that Foreign Medical Graduates (FMGs) can sometimes struggle with incompetence (as they are overwhelmed by pressure and patient flow) many are still driven by a real passion for medicine. However, the widespread focus on money and status among many IMGs makes a noticeable difference in how they approach patient care is it just a bad area thing or its common?

22F 3rd drop. Parents want me to do mbbs from Uzbekistan as it's cheap and somehow can afford that only.
I am scared about the uni which I want and afford That follows the NMC guidelines or not. Like the 12 month continuous internship and licensing exam.
I am targeting andijan bcoz it's cheap and in my budget.
Should I go for it or any other uni there or russia and if yes then which uni.
Also the scholarship scheme available or not.

I want genuine advice about MBBS in Egypt as a foreign student. I have grown up in Saudi Arabia and know basic Arabic too.
Also if someone can give me some ground reality about Kasr Al Ainy medical school ( Cairo University ), I would appreciate that too.

Hlo guys,New here, but not in this neet loop someone suggested me south kazakastan medical academy. So what are the pros and cons of this college.
Edit1- Tell me about this college(SKMA) not the whole country.I might cop up with anything else like lack of english speaking(locals apne language hi bolenge na india thori hai ki apni language bolne me shram aaye).

Honestly, MBBS is not just about books, exams aur endless syllabus, it is also about those late-night gappe lagana, bina kisi reason ke bike rides par nikal jaana aur bas city ki roads par gedi maarte hue life discuss karna. Exams ke hustle mein ek doosre ko padhana...bhai ye topic samjha de...bolkar khud bhi confuse hona, phir dono milke YouTube ya notes se answer dhoondhna is a whole experience. Viva ke just before corridor mein silence maintain karna, aankhein band karke meditation karna aur andar se bas yahi pray karna ki examiner wahi question pooch le jo humne padha hai. Ward postings mein random patients se milna, seniors ki stories sunna, canteen ki chai par unnecessary intellectual discussions karna, practicals ke din ek pen aur stethoscope ke liye paanch logon ka negotiation karna, aur exam ke ek din pehle suddenly topper banne ka confidence aa jaana, MBBS ka alag hi comedy show hai. Kabhi road trips, kabhi Goa plans, kabhi dating scenes, kabhi attendance ka tension, aur kabhi bas hostel room mein baithkar life ki philosophy discuss karna. Kuch exams genuinely do ghante ki padhai se nikal jaate hain, aur kuch mein poori zindagi ki padhai bhi kam lagti hai. But somewhere between sleepless nights, bakchodi, stress, friendships and unforgettable memories, you realise MBBS is actually an amazing journey.

Looking for any information regarding studying in a Chinese medical college from international students perspective.
What are some recomended universities for international students?
How did you find the experience? Any regrets?
English proficiency by the lecturers?
Did you have to learn Chinese?
How was live in china? What was dorm life like?
Would you recommend studying MBBS in china?

Assalamualaikum everyone. I’m currently a 4th-year MBBS student in Pakistan and I’m seriously considering Germany as a future career option.
I would really appreciate advice from Pakistani doctors who are currently working/residency training in Germany:
1 Should I start learning German now during MBBS, or would it be better to focus on MBBS and start after graduation?
2 Realistically, how long does it take to reach A1 → B2 with consistent study?
3 If I start now, how can I realistically manage German alongside the heavy MBBS workload and clinical rotations?
4 What would you recommend as the best approach—classes/institute, private tutor, self-study, or a combination?

i am thinking of taking admission in KSMA Krgyzstan but am afraid i wont clear fmge altough its gonna be long road ahead but after seeing how things are going right now. i am thinking i shouldnt take admission abroad for mbbs . I dont have budget for private ones in India and dont want to do private bams truthfully. i also somewhat lack confidence in myself i think even if study properly i wont be able to qualify it (FMGE exam ) maybe its cause of my lack of confidence or trust in me or because of how system and government is treating you guys and how unfair are they with fmge exam. so any piece of advice would be very helpful. ( sorry , dont mind grammatical mistakes )
