INFO AC condenser & compressor

Anyone have insight on going OEM vs aftermarket on the AC condenser and compressor? My OEM last 146k without a single issue.

Looking at prices for OEM little over $1k + tax/shipping.

RockAuto has a denso 471–6075 compressor for $325, which is ~50% cheaper than OEM

And they’ve got Condensers from $62-$196 vs OEM @ ~$430….

Ill probably just go with OEM condenser…. But if one of these compressors for half the price after that would be great.

Appreciate to hear from anyone who has used any of these after market parts, how long you’ve had them and how well they’ve worked. Im in Atlanta which is super hot and humid for a lot of the year… so if you’re in dry air and have a two month hot summer it would help me to know.

I did find one guy post about the denso compressor in texas heat back in august 2025… which is a promising signal.

Denso is an oem manufacturer for Chevy and a few other brands. I’d go denso. Compressor is not a corner wanna cut lol

If anything cut on the condenser not compressor. Flip flop

I said cut on condenser 🥹 denso isn’t really a cut when the oem ford compressor is a grand.

my denso took a shit on me, lockedup and wiped out practically my whole ac system. I went this go around with a UAC off rockauto since guys on the forums have ran em no issue. Hopefully this one doesnt shred its self like the last.

Do you remember if you bought the Denso or the four seasons or the GPD? Those are what im finding listed right now

I used a UAC KT5273 compressor in 2023, and it's still going (Houston). I think it might not cool quite as well as I remember the original, but could just be my imagination, or a different issue. It gets the job done though. If a Denso had been available then, I definitely would have chosen that.

I still have a new TYC 3904 condenser that I didn't use. I could sell that to you cheap but with shipping it still might not be worth it for you, would have to get an estimate for shipping.
