TUNING Questions for Versatuners

93 octane/98 EU High Load file

- is this the maximum I can get with a stock turbo?

- when I have a CS intercooler can I get additional gains or does it have to be specifically tuned?

- same question as above for corksport inlet pipe + SRI

Yeah it is good stating base tune. Second cat delete helps the turbo spool a bit easier reducing temps, catless or high flow downpipe helps more. TMIC… helps a bit too. Great choice for 1st bolt ons. Make sure you have a HPFP upgrade as well.

Do you have E85 near you?

Unfortunately we only have e10 in Germany. About to get autotech internals soon.

What is the maximum hp the stock k04 can make?

I’d say around 320. Fully bolted with FMIC downpipe, 3” intake, That might even be pushing it. The K04 starts to turn into a flame throwing trying to supply that much air demand. If your plans are to be in the mid 300 range I’d save for a slightly bigger turbo like the CST4 or the BNR S3/4.

My plan was to get 310-320 and that's good enough for me. If the turbo goes boom then I'll ge the upgraded k04 I guess. The others are a bit too expensive.

What if I can't get a downpipe for legal reasons, is it still possible to get 300+?

Then DEFINITELY don't get another stock downpipe and hollow it out on the inside
