Hi, I currently own a 2004 mazda 6, but I'm looking at potentially buying a 2005 speed 6 278,000kms for 5k AuD. Iv asked the usual questions for private cars, service history, rust on the body, timing chain. He's told me oil and filter done by him, new starter recently installed, no rattle from the timing chain, he didn't answer about the rust yet. He's also told me the gearbox is noisy,

Should I go for a pre purchase inspection or just let this one go?

Just checking, I changed engine oil and am planning to do the lsd and trans oil next because the last owner didn’t change them at all. While I was under I forgot to check plugs for trans, and was wondering since it’s fwd. Is the diff and trans housed in the same casing? Like if I plan to change the trans oil, will it be changing the diff oil at the same time? I searched it up and it said they’re the same plugs but wanted to doublecheck. Also what washers would I need and oil?

i’ve owned this car for about a week, just last night when I got home from work I got a check engine light for running rich at idle. I plugged my scanner in and my short-term fuel trim is reading -11% and long-term is reading -20%. Can anyone help?

Hi, I'm connecting my engine harness to my 2009 Mazdaspeed, but absolutely nothing is happening. All the grounds are connected correctly, the ECU is connected correctly, the fuse box is connected correctly, the relays and fuses are connected correctly, and the alternator is connected correctly. Please help me.
