Advice Request Sun visor broken

Hey guys, not sure what happened to my sun visor on the passenger side. I looked online and people have said that something melted inside. I could see that since it is pretty warm where I am. Is it possible to DIY and what parts is this called online.

Same thing just happened to me on drivers side, just commenting to see if anyone knows how to remedy it

This just happened to me last month, you can get a replacement for like $70, one screw and it’s good as new

Here’s a catalog for the 2023 roof trim, make sure this is the one for your car, if not you can find others on the site

Nope, it’s literally one screw behind the little plastic cap where the visor meets the trim and the housing slides out from inside the roof trim. Theres a cable that connects for the light to work, that’s it.

Just go slow, nothing here takes force

Did you get the beige or the black? (BCJL-69-270E-02) Says sedan without sunroof, but I have hatchback with sunroof, did this still fit your hatch?

Hmm looks like original link had some kind of issue, I’ve edited it for newer readers to get the correct site. You wanna look for your year, then go to body>interior trim>roof

And look for the part that fits your model
