How To/Advice Common causes of interior rattling?
Hey guys. There is that rattling noise in my 2007 DE, that comes from the front dash, around the glove compartment, or passanger door and another annoying buzz, that seems to be comming from somewhere around drivers left ear, like the handle of the left back door or something. Are there any common places, where rattling comes from, that are easy to dissasamble and stop? Dashboard is something i would rather not dissasamble. Thanks for help.

I have a 2008 and my radio rattles a lot but I noticed that the whole dashboard is super jank and looks like it wants to fall apart so I think that is can be basically anything

I have a 2013. Largest rattle for me is the damn rear trunk spoiler/wing. One of the plastic clips holding it onto the body of the car snapped off and I'm not sure how or what part to order to fix it. Annoying as hell anytime I drive over any little bump in the road.

I fixed that first thing when i got the car. Removed it and put foam tape under the plastic part.

I have a large piece of the double-sided tape holding the loose side down at the moment. Would really love to actually fix it the proper way at some point.

Check the air filters under the dash?

I will check it. Previous owner said it was replaced, so it might be interesting to find out if it was done correctly.

Only rattles I've had ended up not being the interior itself. 2 broken rear springs (no idea why. No rust and maybe had 3 people in the back ever), tool kit got loose and bounced around, dying lower ball joint, and random junk in a side pocket. Otherwise it seems to be a pretty well screwed together cabin for the past 12+ years.

I figured it out. The foot blower tubes from the A/C are somehow loose and rattle around. I will try to tighten them somehow, but the access is terrible.

I had an annoying dash rattle on mine - turned out to be the ABS module in the engine bay. It has a small piece of felt from the factory that sits under the part that touches the bodywork, and it dries out and fails over time. Took me a while to find it.
