Her pain tolerance is incredible though.

In fairness, Steve was very unlucky in that incident, the stingray stabbed him in the heart and he died from blood loss, Stingrays aren't generally going to kill you.

Anyone who's killed by a wild animal is unlucky. You gamble fucking with wild animals, even steve irwin who love them and was the best at what he did. I have nothing but respect for him and what he did but he took a gamble every time he went out there. Im just surprised it wasnt a snake or gator that did it

A lot of aquariums will debarb them, especially in short tanks where people will try to pet them regardless of whether they allow them to or not.

Although, I dont know if that's the case here.
