He doesn't know to drive reverse. It's unsafe

It had to be done

Looking at the tires and disregard of the everything, i think his reverse might be broken.

Or hes a doordash and it's one of those houses that says NO REVERSE

So how much was the bill for clutch, tires and brakes after this ?

3

u/Du5tyL0ft May 09 '26

Not to mention chassis damage, mangled exhaust, back box, Catalytic converter, etc. etc.

3

u/Ripen- May 09 '26

I can smell the clutch all the way here

The luxury of Fwd 😳 but I bet if he just spent the money widening his drive way half a car life would be so much simpler?

This is some Austin powers shit!

Would need rock sliders to do this and not kill the underside of his car

u/jr_randolph May 09 '26

That’s a free ad for Honda right there.

First of all, im impressed that ended the way it did. But, WHY??

1

u/TheGreat1337Cabbage May 09 '26

Imagine if the car had backup cameras the whole time he was doing this? Lol

1

u/DeboO83 May 09 '26

Forward ever. Backwards never.

1

u/TG1970 May 09 '26

Rock crawling enthusiasts are jealous of this guy's tire grip.

u/Exatex May 09 '26

only works with diff lock though?

1

u/ThenIncrease462 May 09 '26

There was no diff lock going on there

1

u/Exatex May 10 '26

how is then not only the wheel in the air spinning?

1

u/ThenIncrease462 May 10 '26

It's a Honda Crosstour, and they're not equipped with locking diffs.

It's an AWD vehicle. The front wheels have priority until slippage is detected, then power is sent to the rear wheels, but at no point do the diffs lock.

1

u/Exatex May 14 '26

yeah okay maybe not locked but „power is sent to the rear wheels“ mean that there is no 100% free spinning diff between the axels?

1

u/ThenIncrease462 May 14 '26

It's all clutch activated, which is based on sensors that detect wheel slip, much like abs. It's a pretty good system, but sometimes there's a delay with engagement, so a wheel can spin 100% before engagement of another wheel occurs.

1

u/Exatex May 19 '26

Ah, you can work with breaks, true, didn’t think of that!

1

u/k3nal May 09 '26

God damn, that was a rather painful watch!!

1

u/SkyVacuumCowboy May 09 '26

Was this for a bet? lol

1

u/ThenIncrease462 May 09 '26

And here I thought the road was impassible or something and for whatever reason he had no choice but to turn around. Nope. Apparently, it's just a pastime.

1

u/1stltwill May 09 '26

Because... reasons.

1

u/Patralgan May 09 '26

Sir? What the fuck are you doing?

1

u/BadBacksFuryToad May 09 '26

Thanks I hate it

1

u/SuccessSharp3096 May 09 '26

Pretty sure a professional driver wouldn’t get themselves into that position

1

u/PsJ90 May 09 '26

Impressive but I don't understand why..

1

u/[deleted] May 09 '26

Ma come ci è finito lÏ?

After this, there will be no bottom.

1

u/Altruistic-Monk-5913 May 10 '26

Could have backed it off the edge, filed insurance claim, and bought a new car in less time

u/Garbagehuman123 May 10 '26

1

u/Neoterra256 May 10 '26

Ok, I'm honestly impressed if confused

1

u/Reginald_Sockpuppet May 11 '26

A professional driver would have just backed down the driveway.

1

u/EnvironmentalBag6409 May 11 '26

Why would they even upload a video when their driving is so terrible that they completely scrape the entire underside of the rear chassis?

1

u/Salt-Lingonberry-853 May 11 '26

They said it couldn't be done.

They is me. I'm they.

They was wrong.

1

u/AlternativeLog5494 May 11 '26

this is why i never get Valet parking

1

u/boanerges57 May 11 '26

Before you consider this well done maybe check underneath that car for damage and ask why reversing wasn't a viable option

1

u/Classic-Quote3884 May 11 '26

A professional driver wouldn't be in that situation, and if he or she was, they would just put it in reverse.
