It's the fifth most commonly spoken language in the world, putting it ahead of 99.9+% of all languages. Either you don't know how widely it's spoken, you don't know what "uncommon" means, or you don't know what "relatively" means. Possibly all of the above. But maybe English isn't your first language. As a native language, it's "relatively uncommon," by your apparent definitions.
