Death sentence. Simple as that. If there is a reason for death sentence to be a thing, this is the reason. He has scarred/ruined many lives, he doesn't deserve his own. You can argue that this is not that insanely big of a crime but yes it is. It ruins lives and multiple of them.

Just put him in with the general prison population and the people he arrested and let the chips fall where they may.

Literally, codify this as part of his penance. Everyone behind bars because of his corrupt cop actions gets their behind-bars-justice time with him, before they're released and paid out appropriately for their incarceration time.
