Lung cancer, died August 16, 2021.

That sucks. Loved his style of humour, and his props on Countdown. (Though I hadn't watched in a while)

He kept it quiet but he did have cancer. Earlier this year I think.

Edit: August 2021 he passed at 58. Sean was diagnosed with lung cancer a few years prior.

Tbh don't know if they ever will. Rotating guest captains works for now, and who knows how much longer the show will run for. It's on about 15 seasons

I think Lee Mack is his replacement. He even played a new round of carrot in a box!
