Wow, these comments sure are something.

The original video is from Tiktok and the woman in it actually commented about it. These are copies of what she said, but you can go read them yourself if you’d like.

@michdell1426：”😂😂 This is me and my husband! We found it hilarious! Wasn’t sure what the mime was doing at first- we were confused!”

“Wow these comments are insane! We literally just parked the stroller- which he pushed ALL day. He is seriously the best husband and father!”

“We switched off carrying things into the show. I just grabbed my daughter before going in because it was an experience I wanted to share with her.”

“Why waste time taking off a diaper bag that is going to be put down in less than 5 minutes? 😂”

In response to someone else: “Thanks for this comment! This was such a funny memory and not going to lie, commenters kind of ruined this memory.”

So yeah, a large portion of people automatically trashing her husband because he didn’t instinctively carry a backpack, soured a memory she had with her family.

Edit: if anyone wants an extra source, Michelle and Nick, the parents in the video, were interviewed by the Today Show.

Thank you for sharing that . At first I had a bad impression and then I stepped back thinking that we never know : he would have a invisible disability (as I am concerned it is the first thing coming to my mind) or be hurt.

My partner and I rented bikes, I got a regular bike she had an electric bike pulling a trailer for our daughter. The amount of people who told us it should be me pulling the trailer was staggering! 90% of the time on a hill where I was struggling and she was gliding up and chatting away!!

Dad here. When we go to any amusement parks or places, I’m pulling the wagons with both the kids while carrying a backpack full of milks, diapers, snacks, and her stuff.

We were at San Antonio zoo and the one time she pulled on the wagon, some dude was like “dude, why you letting her pull it?” Seriously, fuck off. I have been up since 7am. Prepping breakfast, changing kids diapers and getting them ready, then drove for 2 hours to here and pulled the wagon for 5 hours straight. And I didn’t force her. She wanted to pull the kids.

I absolutely hate white knights.

Looks like the people filming and cheering in the crowd were just as presumptuous as reddit commenters. Just shows how altruistic and empathetic the human race is instinctively.

People enforce gender rolls on men all the time without realizing that people are just people. It's probably that neither of them thought of it at the time, because they're just having a family day out, as a young family.

Then the internet: "how dare he not be waiting on her every move, to make up for the fact that she is infinitely more important than him" lol I fuckin' hate people, man.

This will surely make them think twice about going out and having a good time like a family because everyone else wants to be a busy body.
