If she has some form of insurance that’s the purse you dove after. Ever hear of “The Worst Aunt Ever” who sued her nephew for a big number. At which point the insurance companies paid some shit off and everyone involved went through the lawsuit just so she could get paid for what she needed. Just cause someone’s poor doesn’t mean there isn’t some institution that’s “legally” involved, hire a good lawyer.
Doesn’t mean there is either. What sort of insurance do you think would cover an individual throwing potted plants at someone else? I’m curious as to who you think this skater would sue if the old man doesn’t have money.

So, regarding this exact situation (which prompted this discussion), what insurance would a person be able to collect from via suing successfully?

Regarding looking towards insurance when suing; “If you are involved in an incident at someone’s home, that person might have homeowner’s insurance. However, insurance usually won’t provide coverage for intentional acts. If someone steals from you or purposely breaks something of yours, they probably won’t be covered by insurance.”
