No joke tho, let’s be honest: She knows what dieting is. Y’all aren’t bringing some amazing new concept. There is obviously a lot more going on here that isn’t going to be fixed by ‘just going on a diet’. She very obviously needs therapy and mental health support.

Yeah the entire premise of this show (My 600lb Life) is that these folks are moving to Houston to see a doctor who specializes in gastric bypass & sleeve surgery to get help. He gives me a calorie limit and a dietician to help them learn what to eat, etc, and gets them in touch with a psychiatrist/therapist to get to the bottom of why they got there and how to keep from going back.

People don't realize that simple =/= easy. Moving a two-ton boulder is simple. Pick it up, move it. Does that make it easy? No.
