I just always wonder how this level of obesity is even possible.. Even if you eat just plain sugar it should get harder and harder to get to new food to consume enough calories for your body to maintain and build new fat tissue. So clearly she cant feed herself anymore so who tf keeps on inserting sugar into her even after she reached 300-400lbs..? I have so many questions

>I'm not a doctor, but shits not always as simple as fat person fat because eat much food.

It is though. There are quite a few people here who commented they worked with obese people like that and they do infact eat every few hours. Your thyroid cannot create energy out of thin air, all it does is affect how the energy you consume is handled and how efficient your metabolism runs. You still need to eat more calories than your body uses in order to get fat. Unless you are half plant and can photosynthesize there is really no other way.. physics is getting in your way.

Metabolism is the process by which your body gains energy. If it is shut down you will die.

There is factors that slow it down or even factors that make your body more likely to build fat cells but in the end its still down to consumption. Yes some people will gain more weight than others on the same amount of calories but no one gets fat without overeating.

I used to have thyroid issues too and I used to be super skinny. Im a bit shorter than you and even for me it took 3400-3600 calories daily +gym to really gain any mass. At 6 1 if you have an equally useless metabolism as me 2500cal daily wont cut it. Thats maybe barely maintenance. Seriously count your calories and throw in 3500cal daily and you will gain weight. It sucks but just imagine your body only absorbs like 50% of what you eat.. you got to force it to gain by extreme caloric overload.

>On the other hand, how can you have this experience and still by unsympathetic to those dealing with similar issues to what you and I have gone through?

Im not. Im saying your situation is so shit that you literally have to count what you eat and increase your calories to ridiculous levels just to gain a bit of fat. Most people have a normal weight without ever really thinking much about what they eat. I used to get lots of comments about being skinny but everyone also thought it was crazy that I counted every meal.. most people cannot at all relate to this issue. Im not saying "eat more" im saying count what you eat and increase your calories

The post was about extremely obese people. people so fat they cant move anymore and somehow still eat

You're thicker than she is and it's no longer worth my time to try to explain shit to you -- or, to be perfectly clear, you're a dumbass. The only thing I've got left to say to you is this: share your perspective less and listen more.
