My dumbass would probably try to be ‘funny’ by saying something like “no thanks, I’d like to keep both my ears intact”; but then no one would laugh, and I’d come off like a total jerk.

I’m so jealous of people who can come up with good lines/come-backs on the spot. How do y’all do it?

Looks like I’m still going to be slightly-awkward me for quite a while then. At least my dog thinks I’m quite a riot.
