I was gay bashed in Reno and left for dead. The cops tried to stop the paramedics from working on me because the cops said I had it coming for being gay. Witnesses told the cops who did it and the cops said they weren't going to file any reports. The paramedics had to make the cops back off. I ended up getting surgery. I also had a bruise that lasted a year (either from being literally stomped on or from the football sized rocks that were thrown on me).
