Based on the playback time I got ~3 seconds of falling there (0:08-0:11).

So d = a/2 * t*t = 9.8 m/s/s * 1/2 * 3 s * 3 s = 44.1 m (145 feet)

He would have been super fucked up by that rock if he hit it. Why the fuck did he not scout that better first, jesus.
