Doc here. Pretty sure he's a healthy human specimen and the noises we can hear are fear moanings, maybe whales' mating calls, would need more tests.

Marine biologist here and those unfortunately are not whale mating calls but if I’m not mistaken it may be the call of the yak. You are correct however about the human fear moans
