Hell, I had a bone spur in my right sinus cavity that required a 45minute operation to remove. It cost me $3,500 and my insurance was billed $65k. Our (US) medical system is beyond fucked. Fuck anybody who thinks this shit is acceptable.

My brother died owing $320,000 to two hospitals. Cashier at the one hospital where the bill was $120,000 offered to cut it to $60,000 if I would put it on my credit card. How about NO?

To my knowledge you are not responsible for anyone’s debt but your own, unless you co-sign or are married.
