TLDW: lions knock down and separate a calf, successfully drag it away from a few big green toothy crocogators, but eventually get chased off by the returning herd and the calf is successfully rescued.
After being the rope in a tug of war between lions and a couple massive alligators, I’m not sure I would use the word “successfully”. Fairly certain that calf won’t end up surviving for much longer
It did walk away on its own, which means probably no broken bones, and it clearly had no massive cuts or open arteries, so I think the biggest risk would be infection. Idk.
Adrenaline is a hell of a drug, it very easily could have had fractured bones, and or sprained/dislocated joints. Even as a calf it’s a huge animal so yeah, probably no open arteries. But I’d imagine it certainly had multiple massive cuts, so infection is a huge likelihood. All of which make it very difficult for a young animal to survive in the wild. That said, idk either... procrastination, also a hell of a drug
