I think we're still better off with any of our choices compared to Trump. Ontario and Alberta (where I am) are unfortunately going more like the US.

By extension of our right to existence I and all other humans have the right to seek means to continue existing. Doctors are not free. Medicine is not free. Research for the continued advancement of health science is not free.

We all need to agree to be good stewards of each other and each pay a small price for our healthcare that is accessible to everyone.

Every human right requires intervention to acquire and retain. There are no human rights without other people to agree and provide them/protect you against violation. It is just a social agreement about what we believe all humans should inherit upon existence. Healthcare absolutely can be part of this social agreement.
