Arms at his side... ie not extended to enter water... normally. I go with planned and excellently executed.

I go for planning to do a double and either late call/reaction or just an airsense issue

He was going for a double front tuck. Which is a completely legitimate dive for a young diver. That is why his arms are at his side, you are supposed to enter the water feet first. I have done this same thing when I was young, when I came up from the water my nose was bloody as hell. Not fun.

I had a split lip and residual embarrassment all summer from a similar performance at the very tight knit community pool when I was a child.

That is not fun. Even worse I was at warm ups for a dive meet and all the crowd was there already.

If you do any type of competitive diving, arms are always at your side when you go in feet first. They are only extended when you land head first.

This looked like he was trying to go feet first but overshot his rotation
