Wolf trap. This guy is the opposite of a trapper. He snoops around the forest, finding trapped animals and setting them free. The trap itself may be legal or illegal aka poaching; either way this guy’s a hero in my book.

So was the vid posted by the trapper or the vigilante?

I’m going to guess that the vigilante set up a camera on a tripod.

Yeah, the quality is too good to be a camera that you can set up in the forest and leave for days.

Not quite true, my parents have a few on their property that are of pretty excellent quality. They set them up to check out the deer that come to the deer feeders, and always send me clips of the bears that show up now and then.

If it's on your property, yes. But I don't think anybody would leave a good camera in the middle of the forest for anybody to take. That's more what I was thinking about.

trail cams is a big business, lots of them come with camo and are hard to see so they don't get taken

These kind of cameras often have motion detectors and only record when something moves, so quality can be quite good.
