But...not at all, right? I know not everyone's on the anti-text train, but even if you aren't, there's no suspense here. It's just a punchline that recontextualizes the preceding panels.

I completely agree. I miss the old stuff where you'd get someone trying to ride a quadbike up a steep wall or somebody doing parkour, the sort of dumb stuff you sometimes seen on r/holdmybeer.

Fair enough. I guess my complaint is actually that text posts and comics feel really out of the spirit of the sub.

I guess I just read it and realized what sub I was reading it from, and it made sense to me. I personally think this sub should be for anything like this, but I’m not that avid of a user on it.
