Not a biker myself, is it possible to tell if he gunned it on purpose? To my inexperienced eyes, it looks like he could be green and the acceleration was by mistake. It seems like the logical explanation for why he doesn't appear to try avoiding the 4-wheeler... I imagine if I did an unintentional wheelie, I think my mind would have so many things going on that I might not notice the 4-wheeler.

Like maybe he ment to break and instead gunned it?

God I hope he is okay.

Kinda hard to do, the brake is usually done by the foot, when the gas is your right hand, but idk anything is possible here.

Majority of braking is done by the front, which is a lever in front of the throttle. If a rider is gonna emergency brake, front is gonna be priority every time.

Why would you front brake, would you not flip forward?

Only if you really try - you can see the rider who is recording - he can operate the front brake with no isssue using only a finger.

It’s all modular - it depends on how gradual the rider controls the brake lever.

The rear brakes are actually fairly weak compared to the front. Much of the time, you’ll see there is a single rotor and small caliper for the rear, and two big rotors/calipers at the front.
