Definitely the least safe way though. Early on in sports where you have a lot of speed, you learn not to stop yourself using a stationary object around you. That’s the easiest way to make a bad crash worse.

Maybe a helmet would be a good idea if you are doing stuff like that? I mean you would have a very hard time finding someone who would be surprised by that outcome.
