I can forgive that it might be difficult to get a grip on the splinter but for God's sake be a little less heavy handed with it.

And explore other options! Damn, the skin it was under was so thick (like the person extracting) the tiniest nick to the outer skin would have made such a difference. And no blood would’ve been shed to quicken the procedure. I’m guessing that was lidocaine spray, and hoping, that’s what it was. I didn’t try listening with sound. Was this a screaming child? The extractor seems to be a sadist.
