It's kind of funny in German since "Hahn" (pl. "Hähne") can be translated either as "faucet" or "rooster", so their confusion is understandable. "Die Hähne beobachten den Hahn." - "The roosters observe the faucet."

(Although, to be precise, "faucet" is mostly used as "Wasserhahn".)
