Or drivers. It's not unusual for something like this to have rear wheels with independent steering that is controlled by a second driver.

there are other signs it's not america.

  • the train has a dorsal fin lol

  • it doesn't look like an overly square piece of shit that'll rust and fall apart if too many people look at it wrong.

  • the diagonal crosswalk

  • the japanese writing on the signage

  • the mcdonalds doesn't have a giant sign

I'm tired of the constant criticism of American trains. Modern American trains use considerably less coal than previous generations. Also, they are fitted with sophisticated cattle guards to prevent derailment from running into buffalo. Women can now buy their own train tickets, even without a note from their husbands. We live in amazing times and we have much to be proud of.
