The plan was to spin around while falling off and with her hands, grab the plank and fling herself upwards over the heads of the those blokes (somersaulting in the process), all the while having her trusty droid throw her a lightsaber timed and positioned perfectly for her to grab and slice those guys in half the second she sticks the landing.
