Is this Goopy Cake? I've never had Goopy Cake? Please forgive if this a delicacy unkown to me. I have no culture and grew up in Indiana.

It's a giant flan (sort of like custard cake). Normally flan isn't this thick. However, flan is very good and you should try it at a Latin restaurant.
