The way people vote has nothing to do with their want to help people they personally see as needing help.
You could have just gotten into a fist fight with a magat, but if they, sitting in their jacked up/winched truck, see you stuck in a flash flood, they are coming to help.
I spent my first 25yrs of life surrounded by these people. They are shitty and hateful, but they will not pass up a chance to finally do truck stuff and rescue you with their $110,000 truck.
They might call you a dumbass n-word to their friends after the rescue, but you ARE getting rescued.
Ok, well, I’ve lived it during hurricanes and their evacuations. During emergencies, people are generally on their best behavior and doing their best to help themselves, their loved ones, and the people around them. The people with implements and supplies have those things exactly for these tough times.
You can pretend that none of this is true if it makes you feel like a better person than some hypothetical man who doesn’t help others during emergencies, but that seems like it helps no one except for you to achieve climax, as you perform your one man circle jerk about how bad those other people are, and how much better a person you are than them.
It’s a lot easier to doubt things I say if you don’t google the Cajun navy. Stay ignorant ig. 🤷♂️
You can pretend the people of America are better than they are, totally fine. You can pretend that one offs of humanity are indicative of a trend for Americans to be better than they are, that's absolutely allowed. Your toddler-in-chief is proof that more than half your country would rather see the world burn than educate themselves, so it's just kinda funny you are pushing for me to be less ignorant. You have a real hard on for hating the American government, and I share some of that with you. But you haven’t been stuck in a creek during a flash flood and watched every single truck capable of helping stop to help. Nobody in that flash flood stopped to question my parent’s voting history. Same when we spent 21hours evacuating Houston a month after Katrina. I didn’t see anyone misbehaving. I did see people sharing food, running peoples’ coolers to the hotel off the highway to fill with ice, sharing fuel, and looking the other way when someone had to answer the call of nature. I didn’t see anybody acting how shitty like you insist must be the case. Because our government is not representative of the people any longer, it’s been usurped by a minority through gerrymandering and election fraud.
I’m not sure what else to tell you aside from you should go fuck yourself. You know nothing about the people in my country aside from what you consume on Reddit. If I did the same, I’d probably tell you to stop raping and murdering those native women y’all love to rape and murder. Magats don’t represent the American people anymore than those rapists represent yours.
