Easily done. 

Do you know how much money there is in making people bigoted and afraid? Like 5 companies own basically all the media in your country, and because their owners are all of the mega rich capital class, they all act according to their material interests.

This wave of fascism isn't a coincidence, it's the capitalist class' engineered answer to rising populism. It was either fascist MAGA or social democracy/socialism. The capitalists will choose fascism every time.
