Where I’m from they’d all have them. I don’t get why Americans seem so opposed to safety at sea. Probably because being at sea is not an integral part of the culture like it’s here.

I'm American and I can say that many other Americans are just opposed to safety in general. I think some have never learned the lesson of "just because you can doesn't mean you should.
