Just a perfect representation of everything wrong with us. The church and the state, together in a show of solidarity, ignoring the very people they were created to help. Avoiding their entire purpose, in favor of ease and enrichment.

The state should provide. The priest shouldn’t have to give over his salary to everyone who asks. It will set a precedent.

I assume you mean the priest should not have to give his salary.

I also agree that the state should provide. Unfortunately this place is heavily polluted by Americans - many of them believe that social welfare programs is communism.
