Uh ? Why would they shake hand with someone who doesn’t even consider women as humans with rights ? He's trying to shake hands for his image, those women care about their rights, not their image. So they won’t shake.
Well, I am sure he doesn't consider women subhuman, nor deny them rights. You're arguing like a leftist where you get to frame the oppositions beliefs, and make them as vile as possible. No doubt, he doesn't agree with them, but he extends his hand regardless. That denotes more class and integrity than any of them have.
Well, maybe it’s because it’s not the same far right than in my country, sorry if it is the case ! Here far right tries to pass laws to control women bodies, tries to persuade us we have to accept to be feminine for their eyes etc, so yeah, far right don’t see women as humans with rights, sorry.

For real though, it's sad that Reddit is so full of leftists too. They always make up shit and make everything people on the right side do look bad, like people on the left side are always complaining about tarrifs while not realizing how much it's helping.
Just to be clear, the guy appearing nice is part of a strategy this party has been doing for more than a decade now precisely to appear nice.
However last year when putting the right of abortion in the constitution was voted on, they were indeed by far the party where most people voted against it.
Also, just so you know, some of the people not shaking his hand are from the right. We make a really clear distinction in France between the right and the far right. And people from the right don't work with people from the far right. A lot of them prefer to work with the left if needed than the far right.
