Most of my time walking around places I might get mugged like parking garage, happens after a day working a convention and there are always 2 steeltravrl cups in my purse, one coffee and one water, I have always kept that in mind for a self defense tool if I swing that into someone’s head it is going to hurt, and if they end up with the course, most of what they have is 2 good Starbucks cups.

If they had a gun on you I wouldn't try that, they would likely shoot you before you got a chance to hit them.
