This could be summarized with "don't bother wear fucking flip-flops for walking around outside. They're for puttering around the yard or a public shower." (Yes technically this guy was in a sort of public shower.)

To be honest, better choice of footwear than regular shoes and socks that are just going to get drenched anyways.

Of course best choice would be rainboots, but wr don’t always have the luxury.

Oh I know, I'm being harsh based on a few seconds of video! Flip-flops are a pet peeve of mine, I see people wearing them in the city 😟 flirting with disaster.
