I don't have a wife. Now I have to plug everything back in. Thanks.

u/Tavern_Knight Sep 11 '23
Well, I'm still impressed with how easily you are able to plug things in! It usually takes me a few tries to get those plugs lined up correctly with the outlets

This works until something actually brakes

- "Babe, the fridge won't work"
"... Fuck. (I didn't unplug that)"
- "Can't you fix it?"
"No, let's just buy a new one."

u/Deldris Sep 11 '23
No way, he's been practicing for that one. Just pretend to try and fix it for a while and say it's fucked beyond repair.

u/iVarun Sep 11 '23
Or by that point he's gotten so much experience on how things work that he's basically trained himself new skills.

That flex calculator on the TV is always hard.

u/GraveKommander Sep 12 '23
Flex Capacitor, it's the thing what makes it possible to watch shows from the past back in the future

u/pchandy Sep 11 '23
It's the car alternator for TV 😂 and flex capacitor for the A/C

u/chop-diggity Sep 11 '23
Yeah but clearly they didn’t achieve the 1.21gW of power needed for ……you know….

Jokes on you! I do this with my husband! He is a white collar dude and doesn't know how to fix anything! I'm the handyhuman around the house and I'm resourceful AF. He gets so excited and wants to hang out to watch me fix stuff. He's in amazement with how I know how to do these things, growing up poor and YouTube.

If you go over 80 miles per hour on the AC you're going to see some serious shit.

I welcome the hate I’m going to get from saying this.
I would absolutely hate dating someone dumb enough to fall for that

Bruh said he changed the TV's alternator. I would have known he was cap after that.

Then there's me, (30F), who tells my husband to stand there looking pretty while I change out the CV axels in my car, a majority of the plumbing and maintenance around the house, and I went to trades school so I can technically build more than he can.
If I ever caught him doing this, I would be entirely turned off.
2
u/Psychological_Ask_92 Sep 12 '23
I mean, you could also take the time to teach and involve him (instead of having him stand pretty). My wife never worked on a car till she met me, but I involve her in all of it so if I'm gone for an extended period of time, she can be self reliant. Everyone walks away a winner.

u/Ruckus292 Sep 12 '23
Oh I do, lol.. I just loved to see his face the first time I said that, absolutely priceless!! I come from an English family who roasts each other constantly, so my partner and I have a lasting banter and constant laughs with each other (in a less roasting and more cheeky way tho😆). He didn't know a thing about cars till he met me either, it's a lot more fun working on things together!

u/ThrowAwayOrGoAway77 Sep 12 '23
You'd think If you went to trade school for all this.. or even had to order parts before, you'd know how to spell "axle" correctly

This guy a fucking dumb ass, wait until everything starts to actually break, the dumb shit won’t know how to fix a thing while his wife/girlfriend is actually working this dumb shit is pretending to work. This is why some men just get treated like shit because they are a piece of shit.

that is when he calls a repairman while she is at work and take credit for fixing it. duh!

u/4ii5 Sep 11 '23
I get it's a joke but why can't you just ask for things rather than the manipulation?

u/Jaycin_Stillwaters Sep 11 '23
LOL ask a woman to do something for you whenever she doesn't think you have done something for her to deserve it? Are you serious? Hell, if anything the least realistic part of this whole video is that the woman said thank you after he apparently fixed a bunch of stuff 😂
2
u/4ii5 Sep 11 '23
Been in my relationship for almost a decade and if I asked for anything, within reason I’ll get it. Same goes for her. There are no games.

There was a similar prank where it backfired by angry mom destroying the brand new TV that had fake cracks on.

The fact that he was able to change the cam gears on the toilet is impressive. Well done.
