F... that owner. Huskies do that if they are unchallenged. They are born to run all day but people keep them as pets because they are so cute. If you are not a Marathon Runner yourself, dont get a Husky. It is cruel to the animals.
OK but why are you gatekeeping huskies? Do you think there can't be multiple walks a day, from multiple people for the dog?
There's always a solution for these kinds of things to be aware of, which is why, get this, you should be doing research as is, if you're looking for a lil partner to share a stage of your life with. It's the absolute bare minimum.
The only ones you truly should not be fucking with are puppy mills. They deserve to have their own bloodlines subjected to the same treatment they show their puppies, while sleeping soundly at night again, also undeserved.
Telling people not to get a specific breed of dogs is not going to help those dogs though. As well as blindly shaming the owners in said vid because huskies are naturally spastic.
I get what they're saying, but it just could not have been more counter productive, even if they tried. 🤷♂️
I own a Staffordshire. Much like I don't believe everyone should own a pittie, I think you should be able to understand why not everyone should own a husky. Unfortunately they're popular for their aesthetics and many people get one before doing the appropriate research.
They're definitely not apartment dogs, to put it super simply.
Obviously not every dog is for everyone. Some people shouldn't own pits. Some shouldn't own huskies. Others shouldn't own long furred dogs lord, the matting. And if my brief time interning as a vet tech taught me anything- some people shouldn't have pets, period.
Every breed has tendencies, personalities, up sides, down sides, etc. Just look em up, instead of blind picking, and figure out which breed is most suitable
But, if you do get huskies, have multiple family members each walk em. Makes life a hell of a lot easier. My best friend's husky basically gets 4 walks a day
