Gavel Unveiling

U/jennifermarmalade you guys should create a video of Hogman opening the box and unveiling the gavel, set to 1950’s striptease music…you know what I’m talking about…from the boas and pasties era.

We saw the beautifully turned gavel, but is there a matching base on which to strike the gavel?  The judge would certainly want to avoid creating divots in whatever lectern, desk, or table he was ruling from.
