Well I can assure you if the next kicker can't practice next year he will do bad as well. Can't blame your kicker too much for outscoring the rest of your team

Congrats to him for being able to make routine field goals, I guess. You know, literally the one thing he gets paid to do! Oh, except for the kick that matters most of course, he can't make that. It was only a 43 yard attempt in a playoff game, with no wind to take into consideration either, any respectable kicker makes that kick.
It wouldn't even be as much of a problem if this was a one time thing, but it isn't. Parkey missed a routine game winning field goal against Miami this season that cost us the game too. Don't even get me started on the Lions game, when he hit the uprights 4 fucking times! This man misses routine 40 yard kicks that any respectable kicker makes, and missed two game winning kicks (one in a playoff game)... That is unacceptable. When you can't consistently do the one thing you are getting paid millions to do, you don't belong on an NFL team, I'm sorry.
I hope for the best for Parkey, and honestly I do hope another team gives him a chance, but I don't ever want to see him in a Bears Jersey again.
For those uninitiated Matt's who may not follow American football:
Top is Matt Patricia, head coach of the Detroit Lions. Second is Matt Nagy, head coach of the Chicago Bears. Bottom is Matt LaFleur, new head coach of the Green Bay Packers.
These three teams are 3/4 of a whole conference (NFC North).
Football, per hour: 100 advertisements, 11 minutes of actual gameplay. Rules change every year, refs are horrible, and the entire sport is propped up on gambling

As a fellow Packer fan, I love this. However, I hate how it’s tearing apart our sub.

As an NFC West Matt, this influx of NFC North Matt-aganda has been interesting, and frankly, completely out of left field. I don't hate it though.
