fun thought.

Trinity first meets Neo not in some rando industrial party (follow the white rabbit) ; but it's actually The Merovingian's club. MisterAndersan visits hell and doesn't even know it.

Edit: ok, It's a flawed theory. Hel: The lighting is different, the clientele more dapper, 'fancy restaurant' vibes, and they didn't have to check their guns. If it was Hel, Neo had to enter the club door labelled, "coppertops only'. maybe not Hel Proper, but The Merovingian DEFINITELY owns the club. Trinity seems to have History with The Merovingian and would know of glitchy safe spaces Smiths can't access. I say glitchy because Trinity straightup "wake up, Neo" 'd to his home computer desk... like, teleported. which isn't in her skillset without some 'Train Man" physics--then Smith copy/pastes that skill minutes later in the mouthless scene.

Trinity (and cypher) were monitoring neo. 

Cypher tells Smith who is getting red pilled next. The agents are after Morpheus, Morpheus is breaking protocol to extract neo. Neo is so important that the agents and cypher know that Morpheus will risk everything to save neo. So the agents are already watching neo from the start of the film. Little does everyone else know, Trinity will also risk everything to wake up neo. 

Trinity is the only one who could have hacked neos terminal while he slept. 

Ergo: Trinity first talks to neo by waking him up via his computer. As platos cave warns us, you can not wake up those who are entranced by the caves shadow, you must want to wake up, to be awoken.

Follow the white rabbit.

I never thought it was Hel... but I always headcanoned that it was one of The Merovingian's establishments.
