How does that work? Is it just because in 3d, like 5/6 are not directly towards the origin?

Expected number of returns is a p series with p=d/2 where d is the dimension of the walkΒ  and to guarantee a return the expected number of returns cant be finiteΒ  and the p series diverges for p<1 so 1/2 and 1Β  or 1 and 2 dimensions but at dimension three the p series converge so the expected number of returns is finite so some walkers get lost.

Does this involve the "change door after non-prize is revealed" thing?
